Prepare to be swept off your feet by the soulful melodies of the one and only Ne-Yo, who is set to make a triumphant return to Malaysia this November. Following the resounding success of last year’s concert, the R&B sensation will once again grace the stage of Plenary Hall in KL on 9 November.
Ne-Yo’s illustrious career has seen him sell over 20 million adjusted albums worldwide, clinch three GRAMMY awards, and garner 14 nominations. His debut single, 2005’s So Sick, soared to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and achieved quadruple Platinum status. This hit was just the beginning, as he continued to deliver chart-toppers like Sexy Love, Closer, Because of You, Miss Independent, and Push Back.
A maestro with a pen as much as a mic, the Las Vegas native quickly established himself as a sought-after songwriter. He penned unforgettable tracks for Rihanna, such as Unfaithful, Russian Roulette, and Take a Bow, and crafted Beyoncé’s iconic breakup anthem Irreplaceable. His songwriting genius has also benefitted stars like Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Carrie Underwood, and Celine Dion, among many others.
Beyond his musical accomplishments, Ne-Yo has made a name for himself in Hollywood, starring in films like Battle: Los Angeles, Red Tails, and The Wiz Live! He has also shone as a judge on the hit dance competition series, World of Dance.
