Pharrell Williams has just unveiled the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring Summer 2025 collection in Paris. Here’s all you need to know.
It goes without saying that Pharrell Williams has made his mark at Louis Vuitton since helming the Men’s Creative Director role. The celebrated artist brought his eccentric vision to the Maison, adding his perspectives and inspirations from various cultures to the House DNA. Establishing the LVERS community, Williams managed to garner quite a unique reputation in a short yet fruitful period.
His Men’s Spring Summer 2025 collection is the latest allusion to that very notion. The show, held in Paris’ La Maison de l’UNESCO, is as monumental as it gets. The Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring Summer 2025 ensemble is created as a tribute to humans and their connectedness. The occasion was kickstarted by Air Afrique, whose film prelude unveiled some of the patterns and graphics utilised in the collection.
True to the Maison‘s spirit of travel, many of the pieces in Williams’ latest creations pay homage to its essence. Think camionneur-collared knitwear, double-breasted coats in slender silhouettes and cropped tailored jackets inspired by aviation style. This time, the collection includes the python-inspired Snake-o-Flage motif — a revised version of the Damoflage. It was also “details” galore with notable additions such as charms in the form of globes and flowers, use of pearls for embroideries and airplane ornaments as buttons.
Speaking of aviation, the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring Summer 2025 collection also introduces the LV Flight, a pair of sunglasses concocted with edged square lenses and a combination of crystal and mixed materials. When it comes to bags, the Speedy P9 in faded fluo hues come to mind alongside embossed Monogram Courrier Lozine in red. Throughout the special occasion, models walked the runway amongst a carefully curated soundtrack featuring numbers like ‘Falling Up’, ‘Birds Don’t Sing’ and ‘Triumphus Cosmos’ — all produced by Pharrell Williams.
