In a 2021 interview with Men’s Health, the Australian actor shared his workout routine, emphasising the importance of spending time outdoors. He engages in activities like cycling, playing soccer or basketball, surfing, going on long hikes, and incorporating shoulder-strengthening exercises like push-ups into his outdoor workouts.
Striking a balance between gym and outdoor exercise also helps Hemsworth work out when he is on long shoots at obscure locations where going to the gym isn’t possible.

Talking about his gym workout, Hemsworth combines various exercises such as burpees, bodyweight squats, pull-ups, push-ups, and dips.
That said, one particular exercise that he loves is Tabata, a high-intensity timed exercise routine.
