Our August digital cover star, Mew Suppasit, needs no formal introduction. The Thai actor and versatile artist recently made a quick pit stop in Kuala Lumpur and, as many curious fans might be, we prodded him about the things he absolutely cannot leave home without.
We sit down with 33-year-old megastar Mew Suppasit to prod him about some of the things he considers essential to his day-to-day life.
Five things Mew Suppasit can’t leave home without:
#1. His phone. This is, of course, a given. If you happen to be among his 6.1 million followers on Instagram, you’ll know he’s quite active on social media — at least more active than most! Plus, he’s almost always listening to music in whatever he does, so it’s no surprise that Mew keeps his phone with him at all times.
#2. Money. A millennial just like most of us. As an avid traveller (and fellow food experimenter), it’s only reasonable Mew likes to have loose cash on him wherever he goes.
#3. His house key. Yet another essential that’s, of course, a given! Now, we can’t help but wonder if there has ever been a time when Mew forgot his house key when leaving his home…
#4. Jewellery! “When you wear jewellery, I think it can make it a lot more ‘fun’ to dress,” he tells us. Growing up, Mew has always been drawn to jewellery as not just a way to accessorise, but also to complete his overall look. He’s a self-proclaimed white gold kind of guy, but at events and more formal settings, he prefers the yellow gold. Oh, and he’s also a big fan of diamonds!
#5. His consciousness. Well, we supposed that now he’s just being funny. (He can’t even get the word out without laughing hysterically.) Alas, perhaps working as hard as Mew does — in both acting and singing, which he plans to return to this year — makes one lose themselves a bit?
