The ultimate Spotify playlist featuring 2024 Grammy-winning artists

The 66th Annual Grammy Awards was held on 4 February 2024, and Spotify users got down to see if any of their playlists had the songs of the winners on the biggest night in music at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, US.

The mega night was headlined by a string of dazzling performances, pleasant surprises, quite a few ‘firsts,’ and at least one prominent record. Of course, the songs are everything and a Grammy winners’ playlist in 2024 is all that anyone would need now.

But before that, here is a quick look at the big names who went home with one or more of the gold-plated gramophones.

Grammy Awards 2024: Major winners

Miley Cyrus was the major winner at the 2024 Grammy Awards, winning the Record of the Year for “Flowers.” The song, from her eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation (2023), also fetched her the award for Best Pop Solo Performance — the first award of the night. This is the first time that the 31-year-old Cyrus has won a Grammy Award.

Taylor Swift, unarguably the world’s most talked-about music artist, was not far behind. She won the Grammy for the Album of the Year for Midnights (2023), her 10th studio album.

Her win for Midnights made Swift the artist with the most wins in the Album of the Year category at four. Fearless (2008), 1989 (2014) and Folklore (2020) are the other three. In total, Swift has now won 14 Grammys.

The award was presented to her by Celine Dion, whose appearance was a surprise to the gathering. Diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, which caused her to suspend performing in late 2022, Dion received a standing ovation.

Before handing her the record-breaking win, Midnights also earned Swift a win the Best Pop Vocal Album. Accepting her first award of the night, she announced that her new album, Tortured Poets Department, will be released on 19 April.

The third big winner in the major categories was Billie Eilish. The singer-songwriter won the Song of the Year for “What Was I Made For?” — the fifth single from the soundtrack of 2023’s biggest movie Barbie. Since the category is for songwriting, Eilish shared the honour with her brother Finneas O’Connell.

Besides the three major categories, the night was owned by Phoebe Bridgers — the indie folk superstar and the founding member of the group Boygenius. Bridgers won four Grammys, the most by anyone in the night, ahead of the main telecast.

The Grammy Winners 2024 playlist of songs

Over 25 Grammy-winning songs feature on the playlist with a streaming time of around 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Prominent among them are, of course, “What Was I Made For?” and “Flowers.” Others include Kylie Minogue’s “Padam Padam,” SZA’s “Ghost in the Machine” featuring Bridgers, Coco Jones’ “ICU,” and Killer Mike’s “SCIENTISTS & ENGINEERS.”

Swift is not part of the playlist because Midnights is an album. But fans can stream Midnights below.
