Olympic Games: A complete list of all the medals Malaysia has under their belt

Stay tuned to the pulse of the 2024 Paris Olympics, where Malaysia’s elite athletes are set to shine. From 26 July to 11 August, this global spectacle will see 26 of our finest competing in 11 sporting events. This year marks Malaysia’s 17th Summer Olympics journey since our debut as Malaya at the 1956 Melbourne Games, nearly seven decades ago.

Our 26-athlete squad may be smaller than the 30 who ventured to Tokyo 2020, but they are fueled by the spirit of triumph. At Tokyo, cyclist Azizulhasni Awang clinched silver, while badminton duo Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik brought home bronze. These victories were a proud continuation of the success we tasted at Rio 2016, our most triumphant Olympics, where we secured four silvers and a bronze.

As the 2024 Paris Olympics unfolds, take a trip down memory lane as we list down all the Malaysian athletes that have brought home medals thus far.

Keep an eye out for the remarkable performances and inspiring stories that will emerge from Malaysia’s participation in this prestigious sporting event.
