All the upcoming smartphones releases in March 2024: Nothing Phone (2a), Vivo V30 and more

With no indications of an iPhone SE 4th Gen releasing anytime soon, it seems that the list of upcoming smartphones in March 2024 will be swarmed by Android phones once again. Nevertheless, looks like most brands were saving the exciting ones for this month and what’s even better is that most of them won’t upset your wallet.

The device we are eager to see the most from this list is the Nothing Phone (2a), which marks Nothing’s partnership with MediaTek to design a phone for the masses. With an interesting new design and Nothing’s non-fussy take on Android, this smartphone could end up setting a new benchmark in the budget smartphone range.

Going further down the price ladder, we will be seeing new launches from Samsung, iQOO and Realme. Those looking to shop in the premium segment can also wait for the Xiaomi 14, a flagship-grade Android phone equipped with Leica-tuned rear cameras that could take on the Apple iPhone 15 and Samsung’s recently announced Galaxy S24.

Lastly, we have two solid midrange smartphones coming from Vivo and Samsung to please shutterbugs. The Vivo V30 Pro will make good use of the brand’s partnership with Zeiss by offering the latter’s optics and special filters. Samsung, on the other hand, is expected to reveal the Galaxy A55 as an affordable alternative to more expensive Galaxy S series flagships.

Now that’s an exciting list, isn’t it? Hence, without further ado, let’s dive into more details about each of these upcoming smartphones and help you make a decision.

Samsung Galaxy F15 5G

Launching on: 4 March

Coming hot on the heels of the Galaxy S24 series is the Galaxy F15 5G, which is Samsung’s latest offering for the budget segment. While the phone’s design is reminiscent of Galaxy M and Galaxy A series devices from the past, Samsung is banking on a solid set of basics to get your attention. The Galaxy F15 5G will be based on the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and feature an AMOLED display. With a 6,000mAh cell, the Galaxy F15 5G could try to appeal to those who value great battery stamina over camera performance in this segment.

Nothing Phone (2a)

Launching on: 5 March

Initially expected to be released in late February, the Nothing Phone (2a) is now confirmed for an early March release across global markets. Slated to tuck under the Nothing Phone (2) as an affordable alternative, the Phone (2a) will make Nothing’s smartphone lineup more accessible to the masses.

To keep the prices affordable, Nothing is going for an overall midrange package with the Phone (2a). Joining hands with MediaTek for the first time, Nothing relies on a rather midrange Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset, which is claimed to be faster than the Phone (1)’s Snapdragon 778G processor. The phone will boot Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14 and will feature a 6.7-inch 1080p OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. A pair of 50-megapixel cameras will take care of wide and ultrawide camera duties whereas a 5,000mAh battery is expected to offer up to two days’ worth of stamina on a full charge.

However, the design will still be a standout feature of the Phone (2a) and Nothing is going for a bold new look after two years. The Glyph lights are staying though.
