Rising pop sensation Dhruv, best known for his viral hit double take which has amassed 230 million views on YouTube and over 869 million streams on Spotify, has announced that he will be hosting a listening party and public pop-up show in KL this August.
The London-born, Singapore-raised singer shared the news on TikTok, acknowledging the frustration of fans in Asian regions who often miss out on live events.
Dhruv’s journey to connect with his fans in KL has not been without challenges. Last year, he was scheduled to perform at the Good Vibes Festival but was unable to enter the country due to unforeseen circumstances.
He took to Instagram to express his disappointment, revealing that he had spent 14 hours at KLIA hoping for a positive outcome. In his message, he apologised to his fans, saying, “We’ve been inside KL airport for the last 14 hours, hoping for a better outcome. Unfortunately, I’m unable to enter the country. I am so sorry to anyone who got a ticket to see me play. I’m devastated but I will make it my number one priority to come back here.”
Despite this setback, he remains committed to his Malaysian fans and has announced his return to the country this month.
In his latest endeavor to promote his forthcoming album, ‘Private Blizzard,’ Dhruv is set to hold a series of listening events throughout August in major cities across Southeast Asia. These include Mumbai, Jakarta, Bangkok, Manila, Singapore, and of course, KL. Alongside these listening events, the singer will also host special pop-up shows in both Mumbai and KL, providing an intimate experience for his fans.

The Malaysian stop of Dhruv’s tour is scheduled for 17 August. While the specifics regarding ticket prices and the venue are yet to be disclosed, the anticipation is already building among his fanbase. His new album, ‘Private Blizzard,’ is slated for release on 23 August, and these upcoming events will offer fans a sneak peek into his latest work.
