The drivers are expected to roll out the Barcelona-based track on Saturday, 22 June for a final practice race, Practice 3 (6:30 PM MYT). Following this hour-long race, the Qualifying race for the Spanish Grand Prix 2024 will happen later on Saturday (10:00 PM MYT).
Notably, the grid for the main race will be set according to the results of the Qualifying race.
The final or main race of the Spanish Grand Prix will fall on Sunday, 23 June (9:00 PM MYT onwards).
What is the venue for the Spanish Grand Prix?
Since 1991, the Spanish Grand Prix has been held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló, Barcelona. The 4.7-kilometre-long circuit can accommodate up to 140,700 spectators.
According to a report by Formula 1, the Spanish Grand Prix is set to move from Barcelona to a circuit near Madrid in 2026 on a 10-year contract.
