Get to know Champagne Carbon that’s available at LamboCellar

It’s not every day that you come upon a beverage maker that’s the official champagne partner for Bugatti. Well, Champagne Carbon is and it sure is something extraordinary. Founded in 2011 by Alexandre Mea, a fifth generation Champagne winegrowers, Carbon is traditional yet comes with that contemporary edge. Grand Cru, Premier Cru and Pinot Noir come together in various forms — creating champagne blends that put Champagne Carbon on the map. Its bottles are fitted with finely crafted carbon fibre, something the winemaker is also now known for.

In Malaysia, LamboCellar is Carbon’s exclusive importer and houses some of the brand’s signature offerings. They include the Rosé Pink (a full-bodied and bright cuvée made with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Miller) and the Blanc De Blancs Vintage 2015 (a creamy light gold champagne created completely with Chardonnay). Latest additions to the brand include the Carbon Cuvée Sunset White Luminous (crafted with 90% Pinot Meunier and 10% Pinot Noir) and the Carbon ƎB.03 Bolide for Bugatti — comprising 100% Chardonnay.

Renowned for its clean and crips finish, Asahi Super Dry is easily one of modern Japan’s most iconic offerings. For Lunar New Year, the distillery has partnered with Japanese artist Hermippe on a limited edition Pixel Art packaging design. Only available in in the Asia-Pacific region, the special look showcases a pixel dragon. Hues of red allude to the prosperous festive season.

Hermippe on the collaboration: “I sense a clear connection between Asahi Super Dry and my own art. Due to the nature of Pixel Art, I must create my art with a restricted range of elements, but I constantly hone my techniques to unlock greater potential from every single pixel. Just like Tokyo, which cherishes traditions but never hesitates to innovate, both Asahi Super Dry and I share a strong desire to progress and constantly refine ourselves. My artwork for Lunar New Year was inspired by modern Tokyo and Asahi Super Dry’s proactive philosophy to create such cutting-edge cityscape visual and continue to push forward as an artist each and every day”.
