UNDEFEATED opens first SEA store in Kuala Lumpur

Spanning approximately 9,083 square feet and over two floors, the UNDEFEATED store in The Exchange TRX is the brand’s first ever outlet in Southeast Asia. Wood and stone elements spread throughout the store which houses everything from a large jumbotron, stadium-like seating area and a cafe helmed by Coffeeboy Club. At UNDEFEATED, you will find ready-to-wear, sneakers, caps and more including the UNDEFEATED Nike Air Terra Humara in ‘Light Menta’ as well as the UNDEFEATED x Muhammad Ali capsule collection.

Guan Xiaotong is FRED’s new Global Brand Ambassador

Chinese actress Guan Xiaotong has been unveiled as FRED’s newest Global Brand Ambassador. She joins fellow Asian stars like Mew Suppasit (who was recently in Kuala Lumpur for FRED’s grand opening event) and BTS’ Jin in the FRED family. The 26-year-old star is known for hit shows such as ‘To Be a Better Man’ and ‘The Left Ear’.

It’s a FENDI summer at the Puente Romano Beach Resort takeover

If you find yourself in the Costa del Sol this summer, head over to Puente Romano Beach Resort’s La Plaza to check out FENDI’s latest takeover — available until 31 October 2024. The Maison’s Pequin logo-non-logo stripes can be seen throughout the space, decked in beige and yellow hues. The brand’s DNA are imbued onto sun umbrellas, cushions, dress-up textiles and more. There’s also a pop-up housing the Summer 2024 collection.

Balenciaga launches Circuit Sneaker campaign

Models Annabelle and Khadim star in Balenciaga’s latest Circuit Sneaker campaign — photographed by Chris Lensz. The footwear takes inspiration from a contemporary gym shoe and comes equipped with a fused eye stay, aerodynamic vented panels and a dynamic sole. Available in two colourways, silver and white, the Circuit Sneaker is a sporty and stylish addition to any sneaker collection.

Lisa joins the Louis Vuitton family

ICYMI, Louis Vuitton recently unveiled Blackpink’s Lisa (and LLOUD Co. founder) as the Maison’s newest House Ambassador. The ‘Rockstar’ singer — who attended the Louis Vuitton Women’s Fall Winter 2024 show earlier this year — is the latest superstar to be welcomed to the Louis Vuitton family. She joins the likes of Jackson Wang, Gong Yoo, Hyein of NewJeans, J-Hope of BTS, Zendaya, Hoyeon, Pusha T and more.

Nicolas Ghesquière on Lisa’s appointment: “I am very excited to welcome Lisa as a House Ambassador. She has a daring spirit and charisma that I find incredibly compelling. Onitsuka Tiger celebrates 75th anniversary with pop-up in Paris

For the uninitiated, Onitsuka Tiger — founded in 1949 — officially turns 75 this year. To commemorate the milestone, Onitsuka Tiger is welcoming everyone to step into HÔTEL Onitsuka Tiger. Situated on Champs-Élysées, the immersive concept comprises art, accomodation, fashion, food and more. Running from now until 17 August 2024, HÔTEL Onitsuka Tiger (decked in the Tiger Yellow tone) will be home to a special photo exhibition, a space showcasing archival shoes and YELLOW TIGER CAFÉ among others. Next year, Onitsuka Tiger is slated to open the doors to its flagship store on the Champs-Élysée.

MCM launches Autumn Winter 2024 campaign

MCM (or (Modern Creation Műnchen) has come a long way since its founding in 1976. Almost 50 years later, the German lifestyle brand — beloved for its iconic monogram motif — has garnered an impressive following. Recently, MCM unveiled an all-new campaign called “From Műnchen to Mars”, starring the likes of Matt Dillon, Zelda Adams and Steph Shiu. In the campaign, you can spot pieces such as the clothes in metallic silver and Cognac Visetos, a stark backpack and the Diamant 3D bag. The latter comes in the following options: classic Cognac Visetos, silver metallic calf leather and Italian calf leather.

On the campaign, Sung-Joo Kim (MCM’s Chairperson) said: ““Our motto From München to Mars is about pushing beyond limits. Our mission is to serve the needs of digital nomads. We’re committed to testing boundaries, leveraging new technology to explore new horizons. AI plays a significant role in this campaign, not only by taking a leap in innovation but also taking the path towards a more sustainable future”.
