Cartier celebrates the centennial of the Trinity in Singapore

Cartier commemorates 100 years of its iconic Trinity in Singapore.

For a century, Cartier’s Trinity collection has epitomised elegance and timeless design. Conceived in 1924 by Louis Cartier, the Trinity ring—a seamless blend of three interlocking bands in rose, yellow, and white gold—has become an enduring symbol of love, fidelity, and friendship. This iconic piece has graced the fingers of royalty, celebrities, and jewellery aficionados around the world, captivating hearts with its simple yet profound beauty.

This July, Cartier celebrates the 100th anniversary of Trinity through an original pop-up at The Arts House, 1 Old Parliament Lane in Singapore. From 15 till 23 July 2024, The Maison invites guests on an immersive journey with Trinity divided into various rooms that bring to light this jewellery legend.

Trinity stands as an enduring legacy for Cartier, conceived in 1924 by Louis Cartier. A century later, the visionary gold interlocking rings in three shades of gold continue to captivate on a universal scale.

In celebration of this centenary, visitors are invited to journey to the heart of the jewellery icon through seven interconnected and immersive rooms. From the daring moment of its creation to its loyal devotees past and present, and the magic of the number three, each step explores the ring’s journey to iconic status.

The anniversary pop-up also features an original, collaborative project – Imagine Infinite Circles. Launched by Cartier, it gathers more than 100 works by creative figures from all over the world, from varying disciplines and backgrounds. Each of them pays tribute to Trinity as an inexhaustible inspiration. Imagine Infinite Circles forms a collection which Cartier asked Jérôme Sans to curate. As the curator of this journey, the French creative figure has selected 30 works reflecting Singapore.

At the pop-up, visitors will experience a seamless blend of history and modernity, as each room uniquely showcases Trinity’s evolution and its timeless appeal. Highlights include interactive displays, historical archives, and digital installations that breathe new life into the iconic design.

The Cartier Trinity 100 pop-up is free and open to the public from 15 till 23 July 2024.
