Fashion Obsessions (Milan Fashion Week edition): Men’s Spring Summer 2025 recap

With the Men’s Milan Fashion Week coming and going so quickly, let’s go on a little recap of some of the shows and of course, the looks. The Men’s Spring Summer 2025 collections we’re covering in this roundup include Prada, Moschino, ZEGNA and more.

Dolce&Gabbana

Dolce&Gabbana is taking a sophisticated summer seriously with its Men’s Spring Summer 2025 collection. Amongst the croco print Marlene and oversized Sicily bags are leather woven overcoats, tailored jackets and sweaters with woven elements. The showcase is an homage to the uniqueness of Italy — from its highly respected craftsmanship to the destination itself. Picture the Ligurian Riviera, the Amalfi Coast, the world renowned architecture and more. Elegance takes centre stage with classic pieces, be it sheer or sleeveless, made for ideal layering.

Moschino

Moschino’s Creative Director Adrian Appiolaza took to the stage for his the unveiling of his second ever presentation. At the show, he showcased both the Men’s Spring Summer 2025 and Women’s Resort 2025 collections. Kicking of Milan Fashion Week, it’s clear that the looks are playfully executed — alluding to escapism with little nods to Franco Moschino. On the runway, models appeared in holiday-ready fits that joyfully mingled with eccentric office wear. The Moschino Love heart is introduced in the form of an attaché case; further enforcing the archival tributes. Think the iconic “Survival” jacket and football motifs.

MSGM

One thing Massimo Giorgetti does best in his trade is always elevating the game. His 15th anniversary show during Milan Fashion Week is a testament to that very notion. Based on the theme of “THE SEA AND I”, the co-ed presentation — MSGM Men’s Spring Summer 2025 and Women’s Resort 2025 collections — saw Giorgetti unveil an ensemble that takes the idea of an immersive holiday up several notches. Blue, red and turquoise hues point to summer memories alongside nautical stripes and expressive prints. In the menswear collection, you will find pieces like an oversized bowling shirt with yellow and black notes and a blazing, shiny red coat.

Prada

Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons’ Prada Men’s Spring Summer 2025 collection is an examination of perspectives. Presented inside the Deposito of the Fondazione Prada, the designs are imbued with energy and the notion that everything and anything is possible when it comes to style. Juxtaposition features heavily throughout the collection, including workwear but with a cropped shirt — a play on proportions. Belts are printed on long trousers whereas jumpsuits are equipped with a slanting zipper. Palette for the Prada Men’s Spring Summer 2025 is subdued with pops of vivid colours along the way.

Tod’s

The Tod’s Spring Summer 2025 show in Milan saw Creative Director Matteo Tamburini unveil a collection centred around craftsmanship and its crucial values — his first ever Men’s show for Tod’s. Looking at artisanal intelligence, the designs shine the spotlight on Italian style. Apt for the zeitgeist yet true to the House DNA, the presentation includes the brand’s T-Riviera, the Di Bag sack bag, the Gio Jacket and more. Many of the pieces are crafted with soft leather inspired by pashmina’s lightness.

ZEGNA

Individuality is the name of the game with ZEGNA’s latest Summer 2025 collection. Unveiled in Milan by Alessandro Sartori, the collection gives way to Oasi Lino – lending its lightness to blazers, jackets and trousers. Suede bags and loafers are nods to the Italian summer. The ensemble is a transport to a breezy holiday where lightness prevails in the heart and mind. On the runway, models wore everything from Oasi Cashmere and silk dupion to hues like Terracotta and Sentiero yellow. The ZEGNA Summer 2025 collection is classically ZEGNA yet beautifully contemporary.
