Jordan Brand’s 2024 summer lineup features the Air Jordan 1 Low OG  in silver colourways, which takes inspiration from the CO.JP Air Jordan 1 High released in 2001 and reissued in 2020. The upcoming release is a contemporary design for those looking for a bling essence to their sneakers.

Nike has introduced the Nike Pegasus 41, a continuation of its Air Pegasus line. The upcoming Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 41 is an upgraded version of the Pegasus 40 and the new ReactX foam replaces the previous React foam, resulting in a remarkable 13% increase in energy return.

With its pop-coloured Volt hue, the sneaker incorporates Zoom Air units in both the forefoot and heel, boasting a lighter and more breathable engineered mesh upper than its predecessors. To ensure complete support, the Dynamic Midfoot Fit system integrates the lacing directly into an internal midfoot band that envelops the entire foot.

Metro Boomin x Nike KD 17

Release date: 14 June
Price: MYR 669

Music producer Metro Boomin is making his mark in the sneaker industry by teaming up with Kevin Durant for the Nike KD 17 Producer Pack, all set to be released in the summer of 2024.

Dubbed Metro Boomin x Nike KD 17, these sneakers embrace a dark palette consisting of black, white, violet and grape-purple, adorned with lightning bolt patterns and clear TPU overlays to add an extra touch of style. Paying a heartfelt tribute to his late mother, the design incorporates a touching ‘Hearts On Fire’ graphic on the right heel and a purple ‘Leslie’ signature on the left.

Apart from these graphics, the producers’s 2018 album ‘Not All Heroes Wear Capes’ is intricately embroidered into the design, most notably through a transparent circular button on the tongue featuring a leaping figure.

The Alchemist x Nike KD 17

Release date: 17 June
Price: MYR 669

Like Metro Boomin, hip-hop artist The Alchemist is also part of the Nike KD 17 Producer Pack. The artist is popular for his deep connections and noteworthy sounds in the music community. In this exciting collaboration, sneaker enthusiasts will witness some of the coolest collector pieces this summer!

Dubbed The Alchemist x Nike KD 17, the sneaker comes in a colour palette that combines Coconut Milk, Laser Orange, Viotech and Doll tones. In contrast to Metro Boomin’s design, this version takes a simplistic approach and features a multi-layered mesh upper, with a gradient transition from deep purple at the base to lighter purple tones towards the top. Additionally,

ALC Records branding pays homage to The Alchemist’s music label on the sneaker.
