With the first flight to the Central Asian country’s largest city scheduled for 14 March 2024, Air Asia X is celebrating the occasion with a flash sale that runs for one day only on 16 February 2024. Travel enthusiasts and eager travellers have eight hours to access the special promotion, starting at 10.00AM and ending at 6.00PM (Malaysia time).

Even greater news? You can travel to Almaty from RM88 all-in one-way. With a travel period from 14 March to 26 October 2024, the promotional fare can be purchased on Air Asia’s website and the Air Asia Superapp. For your information, Kuala Lumpur – Almaty (Flight D7600) will fly four times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) — departing at 12.50PM and arriving at the destination at 6.45PM (Kazakhstan time). Return flights (Flight D7601) will be on the same days with departures planned for 8.50PM (Kazakhstan time) and arrival in Kuala Lumpur at 6.05AM.

Benyamin Ismail (CEO) on the special fare: “We are excited to offer this amazing fare to Almaty, providing travellers with the opportunity to explore this dynamic city known for its rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture. Kazakhstan is a new destination for AAX which is in high demand and this Flash Sale exemplifies our commitment to making travel accessible and affordable for everyone, including to unique and exciting places like Almaty. Likewise, we expect strong demand from Almaty for students, or to visit Kuala Lumpur and the cultural melting pot of Malaysia as a key tourism destination. As we continue to expand our network, guests can look forward to even more opportunities to explore new destinations at incredible fares in the future”.
