After three successful seasons, Sweet Home — one of Netflix’s most expensive K-dramas — left fans wondering whether a season 4 will ever happen. Here’s everything we know about the release date and other details of a probable season 4 of the monster horror K-drama Sweet Home.
Sweet Home season 3 was released worldwide on Netflix on 19 July 2024 and has been garnering appreciation from fans and critics alike. Throughout the eight-episode apocalyptic horror K-drama, fans were introduced to several plot twists, horrendous murders, new monsters and Eun-hyuk’s return as a neohuman.
For almost seven hours, the lead-up to the ending of the monster saga pondered what fate would have in store for the human survivors as well as protagonists Hyun-su and Eun-hyuk. Finally, in an epic finale episode, viewers saw the OG Green Home duo team up to end the war between humans and monsters forever, thereby re-establishing peace and harmony in the world.
The K-drama ended with human survivors coming to terms with neohumans, and Hyun-su and Eun-hyuk calling this new era their “Sweet Home”.
Could Sweet Home season 4 happen?

At the time of writing, there is no official announcement of a fourth instalment Sweet Home being in the works. According to director Lee Eung-bok, the latest third season concludes the gripping series as humanity grapples with the emergency of neohumans in a world on the brink of annihilation.
Talking about the same, he further said in a 2024 Netflix press conference, “Since we shot season two and season three simultaneously, we can’t say that we have new content (for season 3). However, I listened carefully to all the feedback … We dedicated ourselves to concluding the series with season 3, with more help from Netflix (than before).”
Is there a release date for Sweet Home season 4?
