South Korean television giant tVN has been on a roll this 2024 — with titles like Queen Of Tears, Lovely Runner, and Marry My Husband bringing in jaw-dropping viewership ratings. The latest addition to its lineup centres its action on one of K-drama’s most popular settings — the office. The story follows two individuals — one cynical and analytical, the other trusting and warm-hearted — who join forces to take down fraudulent practices. Directed by Kwon Young-il of the Doom At Your Service and Joo Sang-gyu of the You Are My Spring fame — the show is titled The Auditors and is set to drop this month. Here’s all about it.

A cynical and capable audit team leader unravels corruption in his company with the help of a warm-hearted and dedicated new employee.
Meet the cast of The Auditors
Leading the action is Beyond Evil actor Shin Ha-Kyun — who steps into the shoes of Shin Cha-il, audit team leader at JU Construction. He’s witty, analytical, and quite cynical. Joining him is Apartment 404 actor Lee Jung-ha, who essays the role of the warmhearted rookie Goo Han-soo, who applies to the department in hopes of being transferred to the company’s Florida branch. Although they work together in the same team, the two characters are poles apart.
Also in the picture is Descendants Of The Sun star Jin Goo. He plays Hwang Dae-woong — the vice president of JU Construction and the third son of the founder. He hopes to become the president himself by surpassing his older brothers. Meanwhile, Doctor Cha actress Jo A-ram plays Yoon Seo-jin, a rookie member of the audit team who’s quite diligent about her work.
The release date of The Auditors
The Auditors will drop on tvN on 6 July. New episodes will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 pm KST (5:50 pm IST).
