“I feel fresh,” Leeeloo says, brightening. “I love it. I feel like I’m a little My Little Pony and that’s just me. Very loud. Very vibrant.”
Colleen Augustin & Nick Tan, Hair Atelier
In the intimate realm of hairstyling, the connection between stylist and client is unparalleled. For Colleen and Nick, this bond formed effortlessly – a stroke of luck, perhaps, as Nick happened to be Colleen’s regular hairstylist.
Despite her persona as an MMA fighter and kids’ coach, Colleen exuded a cool and calm demeanour. Nick opted for a subtle yet chic beige-brown makeover, marking Colleen’s first venture into a completely different hair colour.
“It was my first time getting my whole head bleached and changing it to a completely different colour…” Colleen says. “I really love my new hair colour because it’s something that I would never have thought of to get for myself. I’m really glad I got to try something new.”
